About Chromos

Chromos is a fashion styling app that helps you discover color palettes for garments you already own and build outfits from your existing wardrobe. Available on iOS and web, coming to Android soon.

How it works

Upload a garment, and Chromos recommends three color palettes tailored to it.

Go for it draws from a curated collection of palettes inspired by fashion editorials, art, and color theory. These are the palettes that surprise you — combinations you wouldn't have reached for on your own, but that work beautifully together.

Keep the mood stays tonally anchored to the garment's existing colors for a sophisticated, cohesive look.

Wear anywhere offers safe, versatile combinations that work in any setting — from the office to the weekend.

From there, match the palette to other garments in your wardrobe and build outfits from what you already own. You can also bulk upload your wardrobe all at once if you want to skip straight to outfit building. Save outfits for easy reference, or bookmark palettes to revisit the inspiration later.

Why Chromos exists

Most people own clothes they love but struggle to combine well. Chromos was built on the belief that great outfits start with color — and that the right palette can transform garments you already own into combinations you never considered.

We take more pride in the curated palettes than anything else in the app. They aren't generated by an algorithm picking complementary colors off a wheel. They're informed by Josef Albers' Interaction of Color, Sanzō Wada's Dictionary of Color Combinations, fashion spreads, art books, and an obsessive attention to what actually looks good on a person. The curation is the product.
