Chromos

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chromos application ("the App"), operated by Village Verve SRL ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Belgium.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
What Chromos Is
Chromos is a personal styling tool that helps you discover color palettes for your clothing and build outfits from your wardrobe. The palettes and outfit suggestions provided by the App are for inspiration and personal use. They do not constitute professional fashion advice.
Your Account
You must create an account to use Chromos. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at support@villageverve.co.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Pricing
Chromos is currently free to use during early access. We plan to introduce a paid subscription in the future. If and when we do, we will notify you in advance through the App. Billing and refunds will be handled by Apple through your App Store account.
Your Content
When you upload garment photos or create wardrobe data in Chromos, that content remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your photos or data.
By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content — including storing images, removing backgrounds, extracting colors, and categorising garments — solely to provide and improve the Chromos service. This license ends when you delete your account.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
Our Content
The App itself — including its design, curated palettes, branding, and underlying technology — is the intellectual property of Village Verve SRL. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Chromos for its intended purpose as a personal styling tool. You may not:
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Use the App to scrape, extract, or redistribute our palette data
- Interfere with the operation of the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Limitation of Liability
Chromos is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that palette suggestions will suit your personal taste or needs.
To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian and EU law, the total liability of Village Verve SRL for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you have paid us in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using Chromos at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use the account deletion option in the App's settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
